  7. Some questions for the Cooper owners;
    Do all of them require modified DE blades?
    How much modding is needed to use standard blades?
    Is it possible to mod the razor so it takes standard blades?

  8. I use standard blades without issue.

  9. Only the 3 piece Cooper's require nonstandard blades. But even still you can use a standard blade and the post on the top cap will just bend that party of the blade a little.

  11. If you do want to modify the blade for the 3 piece to prevent damage to the razor all you have to do is use a hole punch to open up the center hole on the blade a little.

  12. About the soaps that got pulled from regular rotation? If I bring any out, it'll be because I like the scent, and to see if they make an acceptable lather. They got boxed because they didn't make the rotation for some reason. I've donated to the local homeless shelter before and I'm not afraid to again. These lean toward toward low price range so it's hardly worth BST listing or the cost of shipping.
  13. Thank you, Clint!

  16. Although it may be true that on the monobit you can force the head to close, I don't do that to my tools. I simply take a pair of sisors and cut the tabs off so the blade will fit correctly. The blade is to long and a little snip is all it takes to make a good fit.

  17. As far as I know the MonoBilt was designed to used standard DE blades. I don't have to snip the tabs for either of mine and nothing rubs or is forced when closing the top cap.

  18. I wouldn't think it an empty threat. If a CT can happen, it can be changed. On an up note, after a search I didn't see where The Queen has expressed an opinion about The Veg.
    Similar attitude, but she favors her 32 caliber snub nose revolver. Small hands and she had problems racking a 9mm or 45cal semi-auto. Got her one of those special purses with a easy to reach, but hidden compartment. If she was reaching for a long gun, more likely a AR-15, or the AK-47. She has range time with both and being blind in one eye just means she don't have to squint to start shooting.

    When she and a bunch of her Church Ladies were planning a trip to Saint Louis couple years ago for a conference, she made the mistake of asking if anyone else had their conceal carry permits. Upset and outrage by the pacifists in the group. They forbid her to tote on penalty of not being allowed to join them. Now she just quietly goes about her business, safe in the knowledge that if a situation arises she knows what to do and how to do it. She is not a soft target.

  20. Interesting......
    Mine won't take standard blades without shortening the blades.
    I'll have to look when I get home but I fooled with it for a while, and determine the blade was to long.
    More as info becomes available....
    Thanks
