Just finished dinner and firing up the smoker to smoke a picnic shoulder. Pulled pork at the firehouse for dinner tomorrow night. :eatdrink020 :drool

Wow, it's been a quite afternoon in here. Y'all talk more when you're at work than on the weekends.

Looking forward to hearing about your first straight shave, Truck. Glen's not too far from me and I'm thinking of sending some of my granddad's straights up to him. How do you like his work?

It's been a lazy day for me. Watched a Harry Potter movie (well, part of one) on HBO and went to the grocery store. Picked up some AV Musk cuz I like the Ice Blue so much.

Have had red beans and rice on my mind for too long now. Gonna have to go stir some up here in a bit

 

I'm thinking about starting a thread here about him. His customer service is outstanding. One of the razors I sent him had mismatched scales, and they were a bit loose, too. He said that he would have to tighten the scales before doing any honing, and offered to rescale them with a set he had taken off another razor (the yellow marble scaled Rodgers over on SRP). He also threw it in the tumbler to clean it up some more while the scales were off.

All at no extra charge!!!

Great communication, fast turn around (he'd have had them done in a day except for the extra work) and great price, IMO.

I'll let you know how sharp they are tomorrow....well, at least the Wostenholm, anyway.

But as it stands, I would highly recommend him.

Thanks - I appreciate knowing all of that. I've heard really good things about him from a buddy that lives nearby. Will have to make contact with him soon. Good luck tomorrow, and don't let the girls beat you too badly (I'm awful at all things Wii).
