  1. The Agadir A.S. gets a warm-weather test drive next week. There is indeed a "cooling" smell inside-one that you don't get from Clubman Original(both say "Cooling A.S.".) But as it isn't a "freezing" cool, it might just go as a year-rounder. I don't want to use it TOO much in the warm weather-I find it to be a perfect match for the Lumberjack(Soap Exchange)soap, which is too warm for spring/summer.

I am starting a campaign to raise awareness about the lack of awareness.

    Let's be careful out there.

  13. When installing the blade you need to slip the blade under the catch opposite the hinge side.

  15. Blair, I own 2 Ralf Aust 6/8 Spanish points and they give great shaves, and they are aesthetically pleasing to the eye. You will enjoy that straight for many years. Anyway, you had a great shave and reported a good shave summary.
  16. Matt Damon as Carroll Shelby. He's like, You kidding me!?! Yeah, sign me up.

I can't wait. Ain't nuthin like old 60s iron with the pedal on the floor.....faster, sure. But that was an era of drivers and cool machinery.

  18. Jim, you are a man of your word. You did shave with the Fatboy! Great shave and setup! Also, I learned something from you. I thought that Lilac Vegetal was only produced by Pinaud Clubman.
  19. Thanks!
Being home I inspected the monobit again.

Seems that the regular size blade will fit.

The way it worked for me is to lay the blade on the baseplate, then while holding the razor in your hand and taking your thumb gently push the spring loaded hing up and the cap will set into place. Tightening the handel snug and its ready to shave.
    Thanks guys!!

  20. Jason, great shave and post. I happen to like Clubman. Different strokes for different folks.
