If I may, respectfully, offer a simple solution; you need to draw/accumulate more soap onto your badger and boar brushes and work it a bit more.
There is a great video on YouTube called 'Merkur Man's Mystic Water Lather video'.
It is a great video showing how to do it.
Just a suggestion and good luck.

 

You must have bought that a long time ago when LG was still in business. I had Fields&Streams, which I loved, then Tobacco Lounge, which I did not. I should have bought another F&S.

*First time using the GEM Blue Star in the Sabre L2, corked it as a precaution, but terrific shave, may enjoy this blade most of all the GEM's I've tried thus far.

 

Had a sample of Field & Stream a few years back when they came out to Seattle for a meetup - really enjoyed it.

Awesome shave, with a German made razor, finished on a JNAT Stone. Smooth 2 pass shave, with BDBS results. Fantastic razor. I have a couple others by FW Engels, and all are top notch.
