I think I may have some regular excedrin in my travel bag. You know all the different Excedrin formulas are(may be) really the same. Well I was looking at the migraine one and regular one, the active ingredients all the same in the same amounts, I think maybe just be marketing.

How was shave #2(or is it 3?) with the R89

 

I can make the big ones eatable but takes a lot of trimming.

We catch the big ones on rods real in the deep holes.. like fishing off shore really big bait heavy weights . fun fishing.

Yes.. I realized that about the excedrins. However, there are differences in them. As I recall, the migraine was only 1-2 doses a day, where the back was 4 doses maximum. So there must be something different in the delivery buffer I would guess. It did feel like the back blend helped my back faster than the migraine and the migraine helped migraines faster than the back blend. Don't know why, but it did feel that way. Actually, I just buy the Equate generic version and use it for everything now.

Actually, its the second shave on the R89 with the 7 O'Clock black this morning. And it was much better. I think that I was pushing my luck going for a second close shave in the same day. That, and I suppose there may have been some residual alcohol in my system when I went for the Friday night shave.

I am up to 4 shaves with it now. All four have been very good to superb. The only one that I had any irritation at all was the one from Friday night and a little corn huskers solved that issue.

 

I'll give the Excedrin a shot in a few hours, don't want to tax the kidney's too much at once.

For the 2 a day shaves, I was thinking of using a more aggressive shaver for the evening shave eg, Slant, then for the morning shave something quick and easy Like a tech or 11c, so I can get out the door quickly

I can take my time to get a really good shave in the evening, let the face heal up overnight if need be, then mow the little bit that grows overnight with a quick XTG, ATG passes, then run out the door, that's my current thinking anyways.

Justin- 7oclock yellow or green or black?

Haint is GOOD at being bad, but he's just being a ferret. That's how the lil critters are wired....if it's closed he'll open it, if it's clean he will gator roll in it so it smells better, and if he likes it= it's GONE. He's my toughest scented product critic. Lemony-limey stuff is OUT.

That would be 7 O'Clock Black. My last one until the group buy comes in. I also use Yellow and Green.

In case you didn't know, there are two different 7 O'Clock Green. 7 O'Clock Super Stainless (Green) come from the same Russian plant as 7 O'Clock Sharp [yellow] and Astra. 7 O'Clock Permasharp Stainless (green) come from India as well as the 7 O'Clock Super Platinum (black). Although I have some of the Indiana Green, I don't recall trying them. I guess that it in order.

 

You got some rose and other goodies headed out tomorrow or prolly tues. work keeps getting in the way of getting to the post office.

 

I have the permasharp stainless (india) I like them.

 

Hopefully the lil demon will like rose. :happy102 You should get a lil box from me along about tomorrow.

 

OMG I feel like total ass. I feel like absolute S$%! Good pictures are coming though I started at 6PM and finished at 5AM.......somehow consuming over a case of beer+++++. Well....at least I had a kick ass shave with QED Vetiver and the ol Fatboy. I love that damn razor Matt.....sorry the straight didnt work as expected but dont give up. Too much work for me and I am very happy with my DE

Regular uncoated blues from the 50s are garbage. What about their coated brothers, the Super Blues from the 60s? Got a pack of those I expect to arrive tomorrow.

 

I refuse to even try those old blades. My dad hates DE shaving because those damn things. He cringes when he even looks at my razors cussing the damn blue blades. He swears it a conspiracy to sell ass loads of styptic pencils though.

 

Going to the mailbox hasn't been this much fun since I was 7!

 

I got some old blue blades in a razor deal last week. Now I know why they were dropped into the box.
