    Razor: Yaqi Gunmetal Double Comb
    Blade: Personna Med Prep (D1)
    Brush: Yaqi 26mm Timber Wolf
    Bowl: Buffalo Horn 6”
    Pre-Shave Scrub: MRGO Lime
    Pre-Shave Balm: GroomingDept Eucalyptus & Spearmint
    Shave Soap: Grooming Dept Custom Frosted Woodland
    Post: Organic Shea Butter
    Aftershave: TSM Fougère Toner

    Twenty ninth straight and final day of using a different Grooming Dept. shave soap. Last one in the collection is duck fat based I was able to purchase from Mohammad and infused with my own essential oil/absolute blend that make up frosted woodlands. A fall/winter scent but I do use it year round.

    Sunday SOTN

    Two days of growth were no match for my Gillette British Flat Bottom New on a Weber Bulldog Handle and the sixth shave with the Cayenne blade. On fire indeed thanks to wicked slickness easily obtained face lathering with the Razorock Monster. 2+ passes - clean, refreshed, and no irritation. Excited for bed. Have a great early week everyone.

    Double SOTD:
    With college getting more and more hectic, ive decided that double or triple SOTD posts will be better during the term, especially since i can type them out on the weekends for multiple posts at once.

    Shave 1: A fantastic shave with Arko, definitely a first class shave stick performance wise, whether you're a big fan of the scent or not. Fantastic stuff for sure, the omega 49 is absolutely fantastic for face lathering, and it has plenty of backbone!

    Razor: Wilkinson sword TTO
    Blade: personna lab blue (6)
    Brush: omega 49
    Soap: Arko shave stick
    Aftershave balm: prep

    Shave 2: Every shave where i use Uncle Jon's pipe smoke turns out to be a fantastic shave, this stuff is a great performer both in terms of slickness and protection, it easily produces thick creamy lather and has a fantastic scent.

    Razor: Wilkinson sword TTO
    Blade: personna lab blue (7)
    Brush: Omega 49
    Soap: Uncle Jon's pipe smoke

    @Primotenore
    @Boru62

    My goodness, Primotenore!
    It seems @churchilllafemme is in the SSSS. (Shaving Soaps Secret Service) since long: probably a consultant for the 6, SAS, CIA, Mossad, GSG9, etc. for undercover shaving operations!

    I knew some of the stuff, but I forgot most of all!
    Besides I never knew the 'Figaro' brand was the same bouncing here and there.

    I still have some of the Tipo Morbido 1 kg brick, and set aside the marzipan smell that never drove me crazy, it has been a wonderful performer and, for many happy years, the only one I used.
    Then, I joined my first shaving forum...

    As John says, it does have tallow in the formula and this is what makes it great, imo.

    I also took a TFS 1 kg brick which is not named Figaro and had a good performance.

    I would have never imagined the Figaro from MilMil is the grand-grand-son of the P160: it smells like an old style office/school glue: Coccoina (https://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coccoina) and, imo, is not much of a soap.
    For the same cheap price, there are many supermarket products with better qualities (Monsavon, Proraso, etc.)
    (By the way... MilMil makes the best alcoholic after shave I ever used!)

    I enjoyed going back again on the story and, especially, finding out many things I did not know!

    However, I am sure if I watched things through a doughnut hole, I'd have known them myself!!
