Being from the Boston area, I say Let's Go Blues. My interest in the Bruins left me when Orr left.

For about the last month we have had a Whippoorwill outside our house at night singing. I love to hear them and it reminds me of being a boy and laying in the bed hearing them. I am setting at the kitchen table at the laptop and can hear one behind the house as I type this.

Understand, but when you don't come around for a week and not call and then when you call her you get 50 different excuses. I just cannot deal with that. Then when you talked to her she gets mad and defensive. That would not work at a normal job and ain't going to work here either. I have enough to deal with without having to baby sit someone.

Thanks Clint, I think it will offset the Circlette purchase nicely.

I'm right there with you, Gentlemen. Surrogate father to my three grandkids & caretaker of my parents. When my daughter isn't sleeping or working I tend to get out of the way. The old folks still drive, cook, get themselves to doctors appointments, etc so I'm handyman for the tasks they find difficult.

Found it! I don't visit often enough to keep up with current events.

This was the temporary landing spot for an extra tube of toothpaste. I put it there and pointed it out so that I could have some fun with you guys. It seems to have worked. :) I also have some watch cleaning solution and a few other goodies in the closet that went unnoticed.

The toothbrush is actually the one I use to clean my razors. It ain't never touched a tooth. I'll take your advice and move it to a less conspicuous spot, but the closet is mostly for storage and organization. I've got another shelf or two to display a few of my razors and brushes. It's nice to finally have all my stuff together in one spot. I don't have as much gear as many of you, but this whole exercise was enough to convince me that I have plenty to suit my tastes.

I think you'll like it, Joe. Bath and Body Works has C.O. Bigelow (same as Proraso) on-sale (3 large tubes for $20) most of the time. If you poke around on the web, you can usually find a coupon to reduce the price even further. I'm not a fan of the squeeze tubes, so I empty a couple of them into a shaving cream container. They store easier for me that way, and it makes quick work of loading my brush. Hope this helps.

About a week ago we had one here too.
Thought they had been frozen out because of a cold winter a couple years ago.
    Nice that they weren't.

Good call. It's one of very few Omegas with a nice solid resin handle.

The nice thing about having that much Russian steel - you'll always have great shaves AND that shelf will never move from the weight. When we moved in here last year I had my 1200 or so Russian blades in the bottom of a tackle box I've repurposed for shaving gear. Jennifer ran into it with a bare foot and immediately complained about the pain. Chris made a comment that, of course it would hurt - it's nothing but solid steel in the bottom. She was less than impressed with that fact.

I did notice the watch cleaning solutions, but didn't mention it because I figured it was a normal place in keeping with your forum moniker, Charlie.

Thanks Neal. You "sold" me on the Russian steel a few years ago. Did you notice the big stack of Sharp Stars on the left hand side of the shelf? They're gonna stop making them any day now...or maybe it was last year. It's hard to keep track, but I should probably get more. Anyway, I'm set until I think I need more.

I'm sorry about Jennifer's foot. It's definitely not a good idea to kick a container filled with steel. That's why I placed my blades up on a shelf. My Bride's safety is my top priority, and I don't think she has enough flexibility to drop kick them from that height. :D

Thanks for the advice, Charlie. However, I prefer my soaps to be packaged in a jar or tub.
