    Double SOTD:
With college getting more and more hectic, ive decided that double or triple SOTD posts will be better during the term, especially since i can type them out on the weekends for multiple posts at once.

Shave 1: A fantastic shave with Arko, definitely a first class shave stick performance wise, whether you're a big fan of the scent or not. Fantastic stuff for sure, the omega 49 is absolutely fantastic for face lathering, and it has plenty of backbone!

    Razor: Wilkinson sword TTO
    Blade: personna lab blue (6)
    Brush: omega 49
    Soap: Arko shave stick
    Aftershave balm: prep

Shave 2: Every shave where i use Uncle Jon's pipe smoke turns out to be a fantastic shave, this stuff is a great performer both in terms of slickness and protection, it easily produces thick creamy lather and has a fantastic scent.

    Razor: Wilkinson sword TTO
    Blade: personna lab blue (7)
    Brush: Omega 49
    Soap: Uncle Jon's pipe smoke

Thank you, Charlie. I could not have made it through another day, envisioning that toothbrush in the middle of such a highly-organized and extensive shave den. :)

    Good morning all.

Needed some razor love today so I grabbed a favorite and a wonderful tool out of the shed.
My GEM OC Micromatic, didn't let me down, and needed only one blade to do the job.
    20190610_061600.jpg

Tagged the top of the head last night.
Had to be a little careful around that spot but was able to pull off the job right.
2 passes on the face, 2 passes on the head.
    Another great GEM shave!
No issues, just pure razor love.
    This is becoming a habit.
    I like!
    Enjoy

Monday again...weekends are way too short. The big Shavemac Flat Top is a joy to use face lathering. The knot has excellent backbone and scrub with a hint of scritch. The Frozen Mojitos soaps smells fantastic and I get a touch of menthol cooling on the second and third passes. Back to the Tatara SB paired with a Feather. Three passes and touch ups ended with the baby in hand. Two operator induced weepers spoiled an otherwise perfect shave. A splash of Limon and I am ready for the day at a client site. I hope everyone has a wonderful Monday.

Thank you Jim. The Against The Grain shave forum puts together group buys on brushes once or twice a year. When I saw this one as one of the choices, I jumped at the chance.
