    I have got to get through this month focus and then I'll give it a test run. When it comes in I'll update with some pictures and thoughts.

    Proraso PS Red
    Husgen & Ern straight
    Zenith Boar
    TOBS Sandalwood SC
    TOBS Sandalwood AS Gel

    3 pass DFS- today. Always the lower right neck that is troublesome. First time using the NOS Husgen & Ern High Class straight. Came freshly honed by Beardknife. Did it's time on the strop, and plinked every hair it touched. Went very slow and steady today, as this puppy is sharp. Didn't want to have any spillage of crimson. It's in incredible condition, only one spot on the blade, and a few marks of rotation at the pin. Definitely was someone's collectible, but that's not me. Gotta use 'em.

    The TOBS Sandalwood SC....finished the container! It's the first SC I purchased back in mid January. Performance was extremely nice, whipped into a creamy lather by one of my favorite boar brushes. I'll eventually purchase this SC again (a favorite aroma), but need to finish a few others first...gots to have room. To finish off, the TOBS Sandalwood AS Gel....no feedback....it's pretty mild, but oh so lovely scent.

    Both scents are currently available. The scent profiles are different but it still smells like Aventus to me. It not an exact dupe but it's recognisable. Perhaps they just tinkered with the profile a little. Like I said I get a bit more woodsyness in the base.
