Wow. Four days have passed since a shave? Impossible, Unheard of, Absurd!! (Name the musical for extra points). But, it's really been that long. Longer on my head shave. About a month ago, maybe more, I decided to just chrome the dome and leave the sides to see what they would do. Well, they didn't do enough to convince me to leave them, but they did leave a mess behind to deal with. When your head shave looks like this:


It's time to call in a pain stick for sure. So, the Kai with Feather Pro blades and VDH soap to deal with that, followed by the main event with the New LC and Voskhod because - nothing is more basic to getting a great 4 day shave than a sharp blade and baby, Voskhod is. It's Tabac Tuesday so a no-brainer there and the JR230 for the win.

The head shave was a bit more challenging at that length, though the pain stick went through it without a problem. I did have to rinse the razor in a mug and not the sink to avoid clogging the pipes so it took a bit longer than usual but no worries. One minor nick when I set down wrong on the back of my head. It's sometimes tough to get the angle right on the downstroke because of the view in the rear view mirror. Only a minor problem. In fact it was a couple of minutes after I felt it before I saw any blood at all.

As for the main event - the LC and Voskhod made those three passes easy. Ridiculously easy. Loved it, and the Tabac was gain excellent. I'll probably spritz on a bit of Tabac Cologne tomorrow before heading out.

Speaking of tomorrow - it's GAME 7!! It's in Boston which means we should easily beat them. There is a watch party at Enterprise Center that sold out in 31 minutes. Another one in Busch Stadium that will no doubt sell out another 45,000 or so seats. You probably won't hear from me tomorrow as I plan to hunt down those fans on their way home from celebrating a STANLEY CUP WIN!!! Let's go BLUES!!

My mom's doctor's office shuts down completely for 1 hour for lunch. I sat in their waiting room 45 minutes for a 2 minute discussion about a prescription that they did not handle for two weeks. The nice part is they knew I was in the waiting room and said that they were at lunch and would handle me at 1:00. They have a sign on the window that states that their time is valuable and would bill $50.00 for missed appointments. They did not want to discuss my valuable time when I brought that up. Needless to say, they knew I was there today.

Just your basic yesteryear shave setup.

 

I know that frustration, it reminds me of experience I had way back when I lived in Dallas. I had a Dr appointment and despite that appointment, I ended up waiting 2 hours in the waiting room and then 30 minutes in an exam room and still no Dr. I had a meeting I had to attend so I left.

They billed me for the appointment and I wrote back explaining why there was no way I was paying it. So they turned me over to a collections company, big mistake. I called them again and said this your last chance, if you insist on trying to bill me I will in turn bill you for 3 hours of my time, by the way, I work at huge consumer finance and credit card company so I will harass you endlessly to pay for my time.

They called my bluff, so I billed them for my three hours plus transportation expense. I turned them into a collections agency since we were a huge customer of this agency they called the doctor's office every day and even filed a lawsuit to recover. I told them to pay me and then I will pay you. Given the disparate in the amounts and headaches I was causing them we agree to just waive each other's bills and move on with life.
