    Happy Father's Day

Asha was able to Facetime yesterday so the ladies decided to give me their gifts early. I really made out with both shaving and non shaving items. I decided to put one of the gifts to immediate use this morning. Swati brought back the Stuga shave soap and bowl along with a brush from her trip to Australia. The scent of the soap is amazing full force lemon. Like many citrus scents it does dissipate quickly. For the first time out the soap worked pretty well. I think next time I will really overload the brush before face lathering. The Cobra Classic really delivered a superb three pass BBS shave. A splash of Myrsol Limon and I am ready for a relaxing day. I hope everyone has great Sunday .

A 50 day setup while I'm in Cambodia and Vietnam. Stahly/Bic for the beard, Enders Speed/Proline for my head.

I actually brought a few other DEs along, the Dart, Fine Marvel, Schone to name names but after a few days I realized I'm just happier using the Stahly than the others. It isn't capable of getting as close as the Enders-Proline in a single pass but it's such a pleasure and so efficient given its smoothness...

So no anticipated SOTD from me for a while, this is it.

Both these razors get my highest recommendation obviously.

Thank you Jim. Asha actually went to the WSP in Chandler and picked up a couple of soaps for me. Maya got me another Guerlain Edt and a bluetooth numeric keypad for the Mac. This will make it much easier to work from home.

    Acqua di Parma~~Simpson Astor 82/90~~Wade & Butcher
Picked an Italian/English combination for today's shave.
I scored this bottle of AdP on the Bay for $31.00. The seller reamed me with $10 shipping and really really

reamed me, because I paid for Priority shipping and he sent it first-class. AND, packaged it in a
non-padded plastic envelope. It was a miracle it arrived safely.
The Wade & Butcher was honed a la Lynn Abrams yesterday. I rewatched 2 of his videos.
First was honing on a Norton 4/8K and second with the Naniwa 12K Super Stone.

Really nice results. I am very pleased. I also honed two Bokers, so we'll see how they do tomorrow and Tuesday.
Superlative lather from the original-formula AdP.
    No complaints at all.
The Astor fits nicely in the jar and was a joy to use.
    Excellent Father's Day shave.
Happy Father's Day to all the fathers on TSD.

Wickham 'Shamrock Tweed' Glycerin Face Soap
    MdC Fougere
    Darwin 'Drake' 2 band badger
    Feather AC DX (Kamisori style)
    Feather Pro Guard
    Nautica Latitude Longitude cologne

Used a different option as a Pre Shave today. Received this soap as an extra from @Frijolero (thank you!) in one of his den thinning purchases (mostly of WK soaps). Easy light scent, somewhat citrusy to me. The Darwin Drake and MdC.....just lathery slick goodness. 1st time using the MdC Fougere (Father's Day present). It is very easy to lather and load, and nicely slick, albeit a little thinning as it sits on the face. Fragrance is obviously great, but a little light compared to the WK Fougere line.

Easy 2.5 pass DFS+ today. The MdC slick and new Feather Pro Guard blade, wiped away 48 hours of growth handily with zero drama....even the lower right neck, and using a XTG (sort of a S-N at a R-L angle) is DFS smooth. The Nautical Latitude Longitude...one of wifey favorites, gave very little feedback from today's shave.

Hope everyone has a Super Sunday, and Happy Father's Day to everyone whom it applies!
