My Bride and I rode Segways for the first time last week. They are the two-wheeled platforms that the Mall Cops ride while standing. Lean forward to accelerate, and lean backward or squat down to slow down. Move handle sideways to turn. They are a blast, and I was convinced we needed a couple of them until I discovered how much they cost. :signs002:.

It's probably a good thing. I'd just join a Segway forum and get carried away. I'm like that.

It's always the Washingtons that get us in the end ($$$$). I hope you two rode the Segway the RIGHT way(chuck yuk yuk). But it appears you did.

    Hi all!
Trying to read posts while getting things done is a chore. Seen some great work here in the past few weeks, nice.
Still using my Monobit, going through my small cash of Kai blades with it. Got a nice shave using only one blade to do the whole job today. Having used the Kia's only 3 times, I'm starting to form an opinion of them.
First, my face tells me that the sharpness is a tad below a Feather. Not quite to pull and tug world, but not at feather level either.
Second, the blade seems to keep sharp just enough to avoid serious pulling. So far I get to the last part of the 2cd pass before I get the feeling of impending doom, especially on the chin area.
Third, using the same blade for a two pass head shave feels a lot like the Feathers I'm used to. So no problems there.

They are about 30% more expensive than a Feather, so if I have to use 2 Kai's, I'd go back to Feathers for cost savings.

But the jury's still out, and I have about 17 more Kai blades to run through.

Now if I could only train auto correct NOT to change Kai to Kia.

Well, as expected, the Grandpa's Barbershop(Central Texas Soaps)is a bit on the warm side for this time of year, but at the same time I didn't feel as if I was lighting my face on fire. I love the soap, and look forward to one or two more purchases from them in the future-certainly that one in late August-September that I talked about in a previous post. The Clubman aftershave was.....well, just good ol'Clubman. Naturally, I used the Clubman shampoo in the shower and the styling gel just before the shave, but I'm getting pretty low on the shampoo. But anyway...with more cool-ish weather ahead, I think I'll stay with the same combination one, maybe two more times.

I'm not sure how my back would handle it(especially the lower right side-lumbar-with that pinched nerve that is the main cause of my cold right foot). But it looks like a great exercise tool if done right.
