    Found the matching patent marks at Mr. Razor's website. It's the cap and base plate of a 1934 Red and Black, known as a Deluxe if I correctly recall conversation with Gary @brit . Robert did the leg work and spotted the conversation where the ZAMAK cap and base plate were discussed.
    You have the correct photo right there! I agree with the assessment - meh. Not the Cooper shave I was looking for.
    I enjoy several vintage Avon AS, and Blue Blazer has been added to the list. Now that I've tried the 1912 soap, I'll look at the scent descriptions again!
