Good morning all! Happy Friday! I took a sleeping pill and muscle relaxants last night, and still laid in bed awake for hours. It is going to be a rough day, but on the bright side, it is Friday, and I had a great shave.

Sorry for the delay, right now it is bald, I hope to make some progress soon.

Sounds about right, I had 6 days on my last Super Platinum. I could have gone longer but it was starting to diminish.

Yeah... I'm still trying to get one. Got a few bids out, but expect to be outbid as usual. I'm not good at being at the computer when an auction is ending. It just doesn't work for me to try to snipe.

 

Well I finally broke down and loaded up a new blade in a different razor (Wednesday) and all is well again. In fact, last night I used a new lather bowl to build up som C.O. Bigelow (I'm starting to understand the appeal).

Loaded up the 30's empire open comb... GAWD I love that razor!

I just hate changing a blade early, but sometimes it seems you get a bad blade... I had miserable shaves from shave 1 on that old blade.

Looking back on this post, I realize it's a little ramble-ish... pay no attention to the man behind the curtain... I'm still struggling with DST.

So while you are struggling with the sorority girl somebody, why is there somebody hiding behind the curtain. Haven't they read Hamlet? That is a bad place to hide - especially when people prone to rambling have nice sharp objects (razor blades, pirate swords, etc...). Perhaps he is changing the clock?

I need black ink for my HP printer, so I go to Kmart. They have color ink, but no black. They don't even stock it. The printers they sell use that black ink they *don't* sell. Same goes for Sears. When I checked the web site, it's not there, either.

Tracy, that slim you sent with the case adjusts fine, it's the TTO knob that's fussy. Gets fussier as you adjust down. Near impossible to completely lock @1 (for now).

I am glad you have it figured out. I haven't touched that thing in 6 months so I couldn't remember for sure what the problem was. Hopefully it will work well for you.:happy088

 

I'm sure this isn't the issue.. but just checking... Lexmark used to be bad about this and I think HP would do it as well. They would sell the printer with a smaller than full size ink cartridge included for free. This demo cartridge would then run out and when you had to replace the cartridge, the model ink cartridge you had just used up doesn't exist to order online or in a store. You would then have to find out what the real cartridge number was to get the correct replacement.

 

Get a cheap laser printer for black printouts. it will be cheaper in the long run vs inkjet printers.

Man... just 4 more hours until I get to leave. I am falling asleep while grading. Ugh - should not have stayed up so late last night. Didn't actually fall asleep until maybe 1AM. 3 Hours of sleep just don't work anymore. Time to fire up the French Press.

 

Hey Rolls, didja notice the Store is carrying Aqua Velve Ice Gel now?
Have you ever tried it? I wonder how similar to the balm it is.
