It's all about advertising money. No big deal. Most Chicagoans will still call it the Sears Tower. Comiskey park is now U.S. Cellular field. Chicago Stadium is now the United Center. Even Wrigley field is named for a company. They tried to do it to Soldier Field but were shot down because of its memorial name.
Its disgusting but a way of life with the jerks of this city.

 

Yeah I know.. its just ridiculous. I didn't even know it was happening till I heard them talking about this morning on the Mix.

Matt, not much going on. Daughter is sick, otherwise things are pretty normal.

 

We have a mayor who openly lies to us all the time. Nothing is safe.
I got a birthday card from Kathy of Eric and Kathy from the Mix once. Another guy there went to Mizzou and got her to send it to me.

 

Yeah but at least the governor's office is back in Springfield. Wonder if Blago tried to sell the name of the state to the highest bidder as well...

 

new governor wants to raise state income tax 50% from 3 to 4.5% and raise state plate fees. yay!

 

Ouch! I had not heard that.
