    SUNDAY'S SHAVE

Razor - Gillette Red Tip Superspeed circa 1955-1960 (Re-plated in Satin-Nickel Finish and re-painted tip in Radiant Red color by Razor Emporium.)
    Blade - [IMG] *5th shave
Shave Brush - Ever-Ready 1960's vintage (Polished and re-knotted with a 26mm Ubersoft II knot from Envyshave by Razor Emporium.)
Shave Stand by by Desire Metal Works
Suds - Proctor & Gamble Old Spice "Original" Cream (Made in India) *I dried it out for months into a hard soap.
Aftershave - Proctor & Gamble Old Spice "Classic"
Deodorant - Proctor & Gamble Old Spice "Classic"
Fragrance - Proctor & Gamble Old Spice "Classic"

I haven't been posting since Wednesday morning because I was on on short vacation and just got back today. I shaved at the hotel on Thursday morning, but haven't shaved Friday or Saturday. So, I will be using the Red Tip and BiC CP to tackle 3 days of growth. Let's see how this turns out.

***EDIT - 2 passes + clean up. Got a great shave. 2 very minor weepers that disappeared in seconds never to be seen again for the rest of the shave. Very comfortable. This basic, modern Old Spice set with a classic brush and razor worked flawlessly and left a BBS smooth result. I've very happy. The scent isn't classic Shulton, but it's still a good scent in my opinion. I really enjoy the soap that formed over months from the cream. Really enjoyable shave today.

Nice shave tonight, not my first go with B&M but first time to get a set, nice scent, performance you'd expect from B&M, scent reminds me of TAOS Kingsman Bourbon shaving cream with a little something extra. Soap is mild with little hang, the aftershave showcases what the scent is about and the cologne, on par with it while not being overpowering.

Well, the Second Annual TSD Meetup sponsored by the 30DC is all but in the history books. A get together last night of some of the guys, breakfast this morning, a tour of some antique shops and some ice cream to go with the cookies, and BBQ tonight - all add up to one fantastic day. Special thanks to Rod @ezlovan for the fantastic LE soap and A/S combo and also to Jason @jtspartan for the equally fantastic LE brushes. Info on obtaining both soap and brush for those not able to attend will follow in the next day or so. Also, special thanks to everyone who made the trip. We knocked another one out of the park. And, a lot of goodies were shared and acquired. My picture tonight includes the razor for tonight's shave and, of course, I used the LE soap and brush combo. Also in the picture, a puck of Stirling Electric Sheep and Fine Italian Citrus, both courtesy of Keith @Keithmax , all displayed on a quite classy and elegant South Korean fan that he generously gave as gifts. I also have a few fans left that he asked me to distribute. If interested, just PM me.

I couldn't help but notice the detail work on the label from Stirling. Blood on Steel - and the razor is dripping blood. What a great touch.

I also couldn't help but notice that I believe my dilemma over a soap to put in my bowl from @jtspartan is easily solved with the Fine Accoutrements offering. Yep, I'm getting classier all the time.

The shave tonight was a quite satisfying three passes with the Tech and Derby on its third use. Smooth and comfy on the Blood on Steel '19 and a great finish to a really fun and fantastic day. Hey, we should do this again next year!

Travel Saturday SOTN (last one, headed home tomorrow)

The Q-shave Futur Clone and Super Iridium did an excellent job cleaning up 2 days of growth tonight. Hot Damn! I am clean and smooth for bed.

To you guys that have never tried the Palmolive Shave Stick before, give it a shot. It is so inexpensive and will reward you with an easy lather and a very slick shave. It does require a little extra water after initially starting to build a lather but no worries. Plus, the scent is less soapy than Arko (not that I have a problem with Arko guys, I'm not a hater - just different ).

Enjoy your night and Sundays everyone!
