It's a pre order so, I it will be interesting to see what it looks like. They are estimating the end of August for shipping. Given the price with of $65 with my Classic shaving points, I thought it was worth a chance.

The Russian Blade Cartel is a model of efficiency, built on the old Soviet governmental system, mixed with Washington gridlock and Eastern European bureaucracy from the days of the Berlin Wall. We have found that our system of checks, balances, double checks, triple form based requirements produce the most quantitative volume of documents possible in order to avoid having to make qualitative decisions.

Well, the Second Annual TSD Meetup sponsored by the 30DC is all but in the history books. A get together last night of some of the guys, breakfast this morning, a tour of some antique shops and some ice cream to go with the cookies, and BBQ tonight - all add up to one fantastic day. Special thanks to Rod @ezlovan for the fantastic LE soap and A/S combo and also to Jason @jtspartan for the equally fantastic LE brushes. Info on obtaining both soap and brush for those not able to attend will follow in the next day or so. Also, special thanks to everyone who made the trip. We knocked another one out of the park. And, a lot of goodies were shared and acquired. My picture tonight includes the razor for tonight's shave and, of course, I used the LE soap and brush combo. Also in the picture, a puck of Stirling Electric Sheep and Fine Italian Citrus, both courtesy of Keith @Keithmax , all displayed on a quite classy and elegant South Korean fan that he generously gave as gifts. I also have a few fans left that he asked me to distribute. If interested, just PM me.

I couldn't help but notice the detail work on the label from Stirling. Blood on Steel - and the razor is dripping blood. What a great touch.

I also couldn't help but notice that I believe my dilemma over a soap to put in my bowl from @jtspartan is easily solved with the Fine Accoutrements offering. Yep, I'm getting classier all the time.

The shave tonight was a quite satisfying three passes with the Tech and Derby on its third use. Smooth and comfy on the Blood on Steel '19 and a great finish to a really fun and fantastic day. Hey, we should do this again next year!

Combing Neal’s hair is easy. Keith’s hair was more challenging.

Well, they weren’t Kansas City style...

They were very good. St. Louis style uses a wet rub with vinegar mopping on the meat while it smokes, and the sauces are vinegar based. Good stuff. They even had an altar to the BBQ gods out back.

Great shave and post, Danny! Although my Slim and the 2 big guys are great shavers, I lean toward the Fatboys!
