I'm travelling to NYC next month, and a trip to Pasteur's is definitely on my to-do list. I usually see "Pasteur's Pharmacy" mentioned in shave forums, but I also see they have a "Pasteur's Shaving" location, at a different address.

So, which one should I go to? I would naturally think Pasteur's Shaving, but I don't see the "Shaving" location mentioned often, if at all, unless that's what people "really" mean when they say Pasteur's.

So, friends, what do you recommend?

It's the same company with two different locations. Stock might vary slightly between the two. I haven't been there in years due to distance, but I remember having a slight preference for the Lexington location.

Where is the Pasteur Shaving? (Please be in Boston!!), or is that somewhere in NYC also?

Oh ok...For me, going to Pasteur's Pharmacy would be akin to going to Belmont Raceway(where the "Belmont-final leg of the triple crown is)for the day. Difference is that I think my money would be much better spent at Pasteurs.

Ok. Sounds like I'll be going to Pasteur's Shaving on 34th. I think it's the closer location for me anyway.

Oh, I wasn't talking about comparing Belmont Raceway to Pasteur's Shaving in terms of where they are....I just meant $$$$$$$$$$$$$.

34th Street is the preferred location. In fact I'll be making a trip there next month as well.
