Check out rockauto.com for parts Fuzz. They have name brand parts and they are inexpensive. Clayton Sent from my LG-K450 using Tapatalk
Modern Williams Rockwell 6S (R6,R5, and R4) Zenith B18 Derby Premium (1) Fine Lather Bowl Gentleman Jon's Alum Block Denim Musk Aftershave DSC Bergamot and White Musk Deodorant Great shave. BBS without trying.
So, I'm adding a new product to my Williams Shaves; Apparently this was sold by J. B. Williams as Ivorine before selling it to P&G where they changed its name to Ivory.
Modern Williams Blackland Sabre (L2/L1) Zenith B18 GEM PTFE Fine Lather Bowl Gentleman Jon's Alum Block Aqua Velva Ice Blue Barbera Brewed #004 DSC Sea Spray and Amber Deodorant Fantastic shave.
Modern Williams Mug Shaving Soap Zenith B19 Fine Lather Bowl Blackland Sabre (L2/L1) GEM PTFE (7) Gentleman Jon's Alum Block Williams Lectric Shave (Used as Aftershave) Williams Aqua Velva (US Version) Gillette Coolwave Deodorant Fantastic shave. Just keeps getting better and better. The lather was so rich, creamy, and slick I could have stopped after only two passes. I did three and wanted to do a fourth. Obviously I stopped myself. BBS and I never go for BBS, it just happens. Modern Williams may be cheap, but if you take your time and work up a superb lather with it nothing beats it. Such a fantastic shave.

I find a lot of lather fails on the YouTubes come from YouTubers that aren't taking their time preparing the lather, especially Modern Williams.
They're probably spending more time worrying that the video won't mess up on them than the actual shaving.
It was called Ivory before P&G bought it. My mom bought it alot back in the seventies when I was a little kid. There was always a bar in the kitchen, or bathrooms. I remember shaving with it in the early eighties. It works in a pinch when you forgot to pick up shaving soap the day before at the grocery store. Clayton Sent from my LG-K450 using Tapatalk
Either way, Ivory is a Williams' formula. I might need to try a shave with it if what you say is correct and P&G didn't do what it does best, screw good things up.
Anytime Fuzzy, glad I could help. I just bought some parts from them last month and they saved me around a $100.00 . Clayton Sent from my LG-K450 using Tapatalk
I watched this guy on you tube and he was doing a second try at williams, this guy pulled a new puck out of the box lathered for 10 seconds, put some on his face and grabbed his safety razor and made a downward hack towards his face and immediately cuts himself, he grabs the soap and chucks it in the garbage blaming williams. Some guy tells him he wasn't getting out of that shave without cutting himself and the soap had nothing to do with it. He was responding that if he cuts himself shaving he just throws the soap out as it must be the soaps fault. It was just bad, I can shave with just water and not cut myself, I will have razor burn but cutting ones self is user error.
Veddy veddy nice! Most promote themselves to Master Shaver and make a video. There is a art to running your mouth and still making good lather. Yup. Then they edit all the goofs out.
Soooooo. Work has been kicking me around lately. I am so far behind. Might be a slow day today though. How about a few make up pics? Vintage Williams in a scuttle with a favorite E2. This is my scenting attempt with modern Williams. Not a lot of scent but lathers great.
