I thought it might be interesting to see what everyone is using to store their Straight Razors. I have severl Cigar Boxes, as well as an old Straight Razor Box, I will post on later.
Lately I've been getting nice Wooden Cigar Boxes from Spec's Liquor. I just go in for the Cigars and Boxes. Oh, and they only charge $1.47 for the all wood ones.

I added some Hinges to this one.

A restored antique dental cabinet hold most of my collection. Discontinued and vintage soaps in the top behind the glass

I like that. Looks like you need a second Dental Cabinet.

I use multiple things, but recently have modified the cigar box idea.

I used the cardboard shipping box to create a frame and then put thin fabric loosely on top. I shoot for 7 slots.

I always thought cigar boxes were meant to keep the humidity in. Do you add anything to the boxes?

This case was marketed for fountain pens but works perfectly for straights. Now it’s full to capacity with the overflow stashed here and there. I either have to sell some or buy another case. Talk about first world problems... :happy093:

Some great ideas here. I use a vintage cutlery box that is made of hardwood. It is like a cigar box, but bigger. Nearly twice the size and holds about a dozen or more straights...
