I say single edge. It's a coiled up stainless steel blade that's uncut. It's not a cartridge.

Today I got in the mail a 1906 (serial number 688404) Gillette Single Ring in excellent condition. No bent teeth or cracks in the handle. The razor cleaned up nicely after I finished cleaning it up with dish soap and toothbrush, then sanitized with 91% isopropyl alcohol then polished it up with just a jewelry polishing cloth meant for silver jewelry.

That's a sweet looking razor Angelo.
