Flank steak? I do something similar with bacon, parsley, & garlic inside the roll. Tonight was a flat bread (from frozen store-bought dough) with grape tomatoes, fresh basil, garlic, and prosciutto. First time using raw dough and I didn't stretch it enough. So, it came out a bit poofy and bready, but otherwise not too bad.

The bad news: bugs ate your dinner. The good news: you didn't eat what killed them. LOL JK Actually I am sure it was excellent. What is that... lemon grass? Green onion tops?
Pan seared red snapper filet topped with crawfish braised in an onion and remoulade based cornmeal and flour roux, with fresh asparagus braised in sherry.
Lean beef burger, half pound, seasoned with Slap Ya Mama, quick seared and braised in tawny port til medium-well, on ciabatta roll grilled in butter with Clausen pickle plank, Creole tomato, and sweet onion sliced thin. Accompanied by an 8.4% ABV homebrewed ale. By the time we finished these, our plates were filled with juice. The port or sherry braising makes them crazy juicy even at well done. The flavors are much more developed once you go past medium, and the braised finish keeps them juicy.
I haven't got around to moving pics from my phone to my laptop lately. So here is Friday and last night's dinner. Some very nice frozen ahi, dusted with wasabi powder and dredged in flour seasoned with red pepper and annato, with no egg or milk or batter. Fried in a smoking hot skillet with olive oil until medium rare. Not bad. Soft tacos with pig lips sauteed with jalapenos and onions, Herdez salsa. Lettuce and cheese. Juicy and delicious.

Breakfast for dinner! Fluffy Stuffy cheesy crawfish remoulade two skillet omelette, finished in the oven, with hot fluffy flour tortillas and decaf quad shot cappuccino with a shot of Kahlua and a half shot of Chambord.
Had a Cobb salad for lunch so I treated myself to the only thing that sounded good for supper, a Payday.
