    Soaked my brush while in a very hot shower
    Homemade pre-shave oil (Sandalwood and Oakmoss)
    Soap: Henry Cavendish Lavender
    Razor: Vikings Blade Emperor Augustus
    Blade: Feather Hi-Steel
    Brush: Handmade Silvertip Badger
    Post: Proraso Alum Block
    A/S: Homemade Bay Rum aftershave

    Two passes, one WTG and one ATG.

    I haven't tried a synthetic yet, I'm an old school old fart lol. They lather decently?

    Synthetics are certainly different. Once mastered, I have found them to lather as well as natural knots. Synthetics are available at very good prices from Yaqi and Italian Barber as well as others. Give one a try.

    An excellent shave with my first ever slant. 2 pass plus a chin buff and I called it. Deliciously smooth but an efficient performer loaded with the Feather. Who would of thought for a measly $30 usd? A wonderful evening and shaves to all....
