    one of these:

    oh, and Linux....
  3. Not horrible. Working.

    How's your weekend?
Shep got rid of a towel rack when he upgraded his shave den. While his wife was gone. Apparently he is still breathing............

  5. Honestly, I haven't used a modern mac since the LC 520s were modern (Early 90s). In college I worked in a 24 hour computer lab. Somehow I got promoted to head consultant over the Macs and I was and still am PC person. Graphically, they had the advantage back then. But they never were my style.
  6. Oh, c'mon! All you math geeks in here whooping it up because it's Pi Day, I try to help you celebrate and no one comments on my
    ? geez....I must be on ignore...

    :happy102 :happy102 :happy102
  7. Sorry Matt... was letting another geek jump on the + n comment. i is not really here... i is imaginary.
  8. OK, so everyone knows my stance on trying discontinued products.

Well, I just can't stand the hype over the discontinued Noxzema Lather shave cream.

So, who would like to send me a sample to try? I'd be more than happy to reimburse expenses....
  9. <ALT> 227 = π

Thanks J, I'll imagine I just read that  :D

OK, off to play some Wii, check y'alls later... :D
  10. just remember, there's something about playing with your Wii, the number "2", and going blind, or something like that.....
  11. Ah, got it. I've seen the pictures of the glorious new shave cabinet, but didn't realize a poor helpless towel rack gave its life (and wall space) to accommodate the needs of ol' Shep.

    Nice one...
  12. Go Mizzou!
  13. So Chicago people, what is there to do in Water Tower Place and nearby area to keep myself occupied when wife/daughter spend a day at American Girl Place?

Yes, I see there is a Sephora, CrabTree & Evelyn, and C.O. Bigelow, store. But realistically, that won't take as much time as they will spend at AGP.

I don't know what day, we are looking at sometime during the week of Spring Break 23rd-26th.

Daughter just started coughing fits and wife just now mentions she needs more cough drops. I called twice while I was at the store earlier. Ugh. So out I go again.
  14. Sorry Justin, while I live and work in Chicago, everything I do for fun is outside Chicago.
  15. Math?
    Bleah...
I have to be buck naked to count to 21. :happy102

Ah well, dinner time. I'm actually going out to be social for a change.
  16. at least it's not 20 1/2 ....:shocked003
  17. Last time I shopped for a computer, there was a substantial price difference between mac and pc. Sure, macs look nicer and perform well, but the point's moot if you don't have the coin. Which I didn't then and still don't.
  18. :happy102 20 1/2 would be sad.
  19.

    I thought 20½ might be a record?

    and anyways A_M, wouldn't it be 23? :happy102
  20. Ha! Good one on the towel rack. But no. Supposedly there was going to be a party and the wife was in charge of the cabeza (Mexican dish using head meat---yes it's as nasty as it sounds :sick007). Then the party got canceled. Now I have a $27 calfs head in my freezer. I told her we should stick it on a pike and put it in the front yard. That'd keep those door to door types at bay!

All the errands are done. We actually found an antique store, but no shave gear. Just 1000+ dollar tables and chairs. Yeah, lemme think on it pardner.
