Birthday SOTD June 25th Stirling Mentholated Pre-Shave Soap EDRIO #84 Schick Injector E2 Prototype Schick Injector blade (2) 30DCLE (26MM, Frigate Class) JoHS Blood on Steel soap and AS Nirvana shave today and a great way to start the day. Shaved after my shower this morning and man did that extra prep help the blade slice through the whiskers. The E2 is fantastically aggressive and this prototype is even just a touch more. Used the Jeeves BoS and the original 30DCLE brush in honor of the crew and the second annual meet! Great scent and fantastic soap. Can't wait to try the new Stirling Version. June 25th Schick E3 w Personna (1) APShaveCo Synbad/Poculi SV Felce Aromatica combo Thayers Went back to a basics focus with the E3 this morning. Maybe not so basic for software, I suppose. Shave was going fantastically- it is well documented what I think of this soap, and the razor was doing its usual great job. Then I pulled a bonehead maneuver, did the anti-rookie thing of being too nonchalant, and sliced myself on a putdown doing touchups around my mouth on the last pass. Got a cut about 3/4". Lovely. Haven't had a slice like this that didn't involve the CJB. Have a great day, all!
Let's see... for yesterday, I went with a Schick L1 and Japanese Twin blade. Today was an early day, so no shave. Glade to hear that the GetTogether went well. Sorry I couldn't be there...
