Black beauty and Barbasol!

Another day, another superb shave with a vintage Gillette. Today I pulled out my trusty New Deluxe!

25/06/19 gillette new deluxe red and black special set..

Sir, what did you think of that blade? Truth be told, with that razor you could make any blade look good..

i love the blade, fantastic 2 shaves with it so far..just mows the whiskers down, can barely feel it..i am doing a longevity test in this razor till it dies..then i will try the other platinum..feels like a spoiler so far..

There may not ever be another blade like "The Spoiler" but that blank side and other side laser echted Gillette Platinum is pretty close, it's at least in second place to none of the rest. Screw the opinions may vary... It's top shelf, no doubt..

i am very happy with it/them.between these platinums, gsb,nacet and spoiler blades..i should have great shaves for years to come..they make the old gillette razors incredibly efficient and fun to use..

My first shave with my grandfather’s 48-50 Gillette Super Speed. Blade of choice is Gillette Platinum. This has to be one of my best shaves I’ve ever had in my life.

Solid shave his morning with a great razor.


These short combs are difficult to date and come in a couple of variations. I find this one to be my favorite of the NEW razors.
