He doesn't seem to use his straights much, maybe you could weasel a straight and strop from him along with the adjustable.

Finally some peeps in here! Heya Bong, Tom, Shep, Cal, Pam.... Shep, I can loan you my Fatboy for a while if you want. I have a lot of razors to go through, and it tends to see less and less action right now. I did use it over the last week, though. I still enjoy it, but trying out new razors unfortunately sets others on the back burner. For about 2 months it was my only shaver. Bong, sorry to hear about your mother's house. It sounds like she's OK, though? Was she home? Did they take much, or cause much damage? Cal, good to see you again, bro... don't tell me you were away so long just to find that new avatar
Shep I have a short handle slim that I shaved with a long time, i will break it out and see if it still adjust and all. You are welcome to use it, might take me a few days to dig it out and all. Well tonight is a big night at the casino. Employee of the Year banquet. I just happen to be the first ever <in 15 years> Surveillance employee to pick up an Employee of the month seat. That makes me a nominee for EOY. Historically Surveillance is separated from the population at a real casino, but we are around other employees in the dining room and whatnot so my Boss was finally able to get it done. As unpopuplar as we are there is not a snow balls chance in He.... ummm heck of getting it. But the food is top notch..Lobster and Steak type stuff.. and Jeffery Osborn is the entertainment after the show. Should be fun stuff. Fuzzy

Too cool - Mat and Fuzzy pull through within moments of Shep's request. This is an awesome group! Shep - it'll be intereting to hear what you think of an adjustable (and a straight) after your explorations into different razors recently. I came at both from the other side. Love the straight. It's going to take me a few weeks to master (no problems yet and I hope to keep it that way). I can see why folks get caught up in straight shaving. Hey Matt, how's your straight shaving progressing? Not too good with the straight shaving. I'm not quite sure what the heck is going on, honestly. I'm going to post over on SRP for suggestions...going to the big guns. I tell you, it's really not an enjoyable experience at all. I really hope it's something stupid like the honemeister forgot to go all the way with it or something, but I doubt that.

Those guys are really good with advice and troubleshooting newbie issues. I mostly hang out over there in the noob forum, looking for mistakes I should avoid. Okay, I look at hones and honing techniques a bit too, and maybe a bit of razor porn, but that's it, honest! :ashamed001
