Thank you, Jason! The 49 and Proraso mesh very well together.

Thank you Joe. The performance of the soap is really nice. The scent is on the lighter side with sandalwood, musk and Vetiver. The aftershave has a stronger scent with some additional goodies for the skin. I’ll likely buy other Eleven scents in the future.

Thanks for your review. I am asking because the DFS 11 LE SS and its matching AS is one of the Father's Day Raffle prizes. I realize your soap isn't the same scent, but at least it gives me a basis to make a decision to pick it if it is still available.

I like to think of Electric Sheep as the "natural smelling" version of Arko. I imagine if Arko used essential oils instead of synthetic fragrance oil it would smell very similar.
    Beautiful shot Jim!
    Excellent shave Clint!
    Nice!
Glad you like it Joseph and will get some use out of it!
That looks great Blair! I'm sure you will get the edge where it needs to be soon!
Excellent shave Joe! What would the score have been without the weeper?
    Very nice Jason!
Nope, not for a while at least!

She is just trying to even the house out...she is out numbered right now. I can guarantee you that a little girl would rule that house. Those boys would not stand a chance.

I take 1 - 2 points for every weeper depending on size. 2-3 points for every cut depending on size. IBSS+ will be 2- 3 points off. IBSS will be 3-5 points off DFS+ will be 5-7points off. DFS will be 7-10 pts off. SAS and CCS would be 15 and 20 points respectively. In my rubric, you can get a 90 = A - with a DFS without any irritation or wounds. Once you seed red or irritation in a DFS, than you are in the B to B+ range. To directly answer your question, today's grade would be a 99 without the weeper.

Hi guys! I just got my lapping films today. Each package has 25 sheets of film. Here are the micron/ grit conversions:
    1. Purple (3 microns is equiv. to 8K)
    2. Green (1 micron is equiv. to 14 K)
    3. White (.3 micron is equiv. to 50 K)

Now, I probably will not use the white film because it will produce a very fragile edge unless I am careful. If I do use it maybe no more than 3 to 4 strokes. Here is the picture of the films. 20190627_145845.jpg 20190627_145845.jpg

There might be some truth to it because I am son no. 3 out of four sons. I didn't have any sisters.

Very curious as to the method used with these films?
