    Razor - 1959 (E4) Gillette Fatboy (9)
    Blade [IMG] (2)
Soap - Oleo Soapworks El Caballero
    Brush - Jayaruh #230
    Post - Alum

Something very strange happened today. I got up, went out and did my thing, came home, and......not one time......not even for a moment......did it rain. It did get to the mid 90's for a high - but..........no rain. Not sure how to interpret that. Nevertheless it was good day and finished off even better with another fine shave with the Fattie and Sharp Star. It's "That'll do Thursday" so I chose the El Caballero that lurks in my cabinet for the soap. JR230 for a classy and quick lather with this soap. It performs well, it's slick and the scent is unique. Not bad at all. Two passes and some touch ups to a near-BBS and I'm calling it a fine shave. Alum was quiet, so no complaint or worries.

Friday has already arrived again and the weekend is close behind! Make it a great one!

    FRIDAY'S SHAVE

Razor - Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements - Double Open Comb Ascension (316L Stainless Steel Adjustable) (Fully Screwed Down)
    Blade - [IMG] *4th Shave
Shave Brush - 20mm GBS Synthetic 3rd generation
Shave Soap - Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements/Crown King - Atomic Age Bay Rum *CK-6 Formula
Post-Shave Balm - Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements/Crown King - Atomic Age Bay Rum
Deodorant - Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements/Crown King - Atomic Age Bay Rum
Aftershave - Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements/Crown King - Atomic Age Bay Rum in Stoneware Jug
Fragrance - Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements/Crown King - Atomic Age Bay Rum Eau de Parfum
Scuttle - Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements Moonscape Scuttle

Going with back-to-back PAA and using the Stainless DOC again. I really just want the Atomic Age Bay Rum scent. I'm not going to go all out with the bath products this time. Just a standard shower and a shave with the gear. I'll use the scuttle for hot lather. The shave should be awesome as usual.

    Tabac Thursday SOTN

Any day is a great day for Tabac... 2.5 days of beard growth were no match for the Feather Professional blade (~15 shaves so far) with the Colonial General Aluminum / Ikon Bulldog combo. A little extra buffing along the jaw for BBS.

Should I look for a stainless or brass Colonial General??

    Comfy for bed. Night all!

The heat has arrived here too: today they expect perceived temperatures of 41° C, hence shut off heating and removed quilts and woolen underpants!

The Violetta di Parma seemed appropriate and it was: 'soft', fragrant lather ... and that razor is excellent with almost any blade.
I took my time and, believe me, it's not little for me!

    Valet AutoStrop VB1
    Valet AutoStrop (15)
    CWR
    Pinaud Clubman

This is my fifteenth shave with this blade. My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Jeeves of Hudson Street Shave Soap face lathered well with the Jayaruh #369 Synthetic brush. I did two passes with the Valet AutoStrop VB1 razor with a Valet AutoStrop blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Pinaud Clubman AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

    Super Speed/Astra Green day 6
    Stirling Glacial Black Cherry SS
    Stirling Glacial Unscented ASB
    Osage Rub AS Splash

Exactly what I needed - an intense menthol bombardment and that’s what I got. The Glacial Black Cherry soap delivered perfectly with its beautiful scent, a boatload of awesome lather, and two boatloads of frigid menthol which felt heavenly. The Glacial Unscented balm and the Osage Rub aka the Rubby Dubby Doo put the proverbial “icing on the cake.” Two passes did the job for me and I turned out BBS!
