Very cool! Many of us shave with vintage razors, but yours are heirloom! Check the bottom sides of the base plates on Gillettes for a letter & number. That's the date code for when it was manufactured. It will help to identify the Fat Boys from the Slims.
Thanks gents. So far I’ve cleaned up 2 of the SS and the British Tech. The Tech has no date code so I suppose it was made anytime between 1930-1951. One of the Super Speeds I cleaned is from 1953; the other is from 48-50.
Just cleaned up the 2 Adjustable razors as well as the remaining Super Speed. The 2 adjustables are Slim Adjustable razors (date codes K & M) the remaining SS is date code D so that tells me it’s from 1958.
Didn’t want to give The SWMBO any more hand me downs. So Purchased her a New one. A CSB Barber Handle shaving Brush 26mm Synthetic. Amazon $14.95. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

just arrive ..the new home for the new deluxe. this nice red and black set case came with an early new lc and a somewhat rare thin common bar handle..handle is flawless, cap and baseplate fair, needs a replate..on right..
Sort of a distant cousin to a Cooper Monobult? Similar swing away top cap. Looks like it'll have lots of blade exposure if you like that kind of thing. I do!
Not sure when production began but they were made at least into the 70s..they came in all kinds of colors. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
