Facebook... interesting place. Got hooked up with a bunch of HS classmates a while back, now shaving fans; I like it. Now to find some jazz musicians...

Not much.

Yesterday was a long day. Got up and went on a bike ride with the Massachusetts Bike Association that ended in free pie. When I finally reached back to my apartment about four hours after leaving, I had to shower quickly and then drive down to Providence and back. Then I ended being dragged by a friend to see another friend's new place and then the three of us went out for a drink. Ended up crashing at the girlfriend's place just after midnight. Long, long day. Very good one, nonetheless.

As opposed to yesterday, today was a true lazy Sunday. Didn't do anything.

Awesome.

I skipped out early actually.. Do not like events anyway. The person I wanted to go with me decided that had something better to do. My mom is not healthy enough to go.<I love taking her to things like that>. So I shook a few hands at the pre party get together. and walked out. Will deal with the Boss on Tuesday. I can not take that much noise and confusion. When I was working Security it was OK. Did not bother me at all. But not just a bunch of loud folks getting together.


It is unbelievable how much they are spending on this thing. They had like circus performers wandering around.. folks on stilts juggling and what not. All kinds of Sea food and stuff to start with.. what a waste. Use that money to give some of the folks there a raise.

Also I do not know if any of you guys have hearing problems.. but a group of people like that make my ears right worse then normal, and even with the hearing aids it is all just a big jumble of noise.

So pick a reason.. I am not anti social... just do not like Events like that. Eh if I did happen to win someone will let me know. But the Boss had already told people that we were not going to be winning.


So whatelse is cooking in here?

 

I don't like silly events much either. Maybe I'm antisocial too.

Nahh I did not see anything that i wanted to try.. and did not stay for the actual meal.. that was just fancy looking finger food out front.. and an open bar... I do not ever drink where I work.

Hey Fuzzy, good for you for bagging the noisy crowd and heading home. Most of us would have done the same given your description.

I used to spend most of my crowd time on the other side of the noise - up on the bandstand. It's equally annoying, but without the good food. Always wondered the same thing you mentioned - why didn't they spend this money on something useful or helpful?

I've been in and out of work today a few times and am home for the night. Waiting for my better half to get here from Spokane in like half an hour. Have to go do some last minute cleaning. My son and I kind of live like bachelors when she's not around. Thinking about ordering a pizza when she gets here.

 

I may be a bit agoraphobic myself. I hate being somewhere with no way out. I constantly plan for what to do if something bad happens. Someone starts shooting in a crowd just follow me I have already picked out escape and or cover routes soon after I walk into a room. If I have a weapon I already know where to get to utilize it. Just very uncomfortable in large crowds.

 

Oh and I ended up eatting left over meatloaf and a salad for supper

 

I already figured the way out for us Bunny, and if you are a bit creative, near anything can become a weapon.
