Waking up from dreams of bay rum and feathers to the sent of eggs and toast. Yes my wonderful wife had breakfast ready before I got out of bed. Nice!
Reading the posts here I see everyone is in good form, as usual.
Last week was a tough one. Stripped a studio floor so we can epoxy coat it. Used a concrete floor grinder to do the job. The guy at the rental place said it would take about 4 to 5 hours. HA! On the 4th day and working in shifts he said he had never seen anything like it. So that part is done, I'm getting to old for this kinda stuff.
This morning I took my time getting ready, seeing everything that isn't sore, hurts.
Used the Focus shavette and my Parker 55SL semi slant both loaded with a Feather blade. The first pass with the shavette was scattered but ok. The next two passes with the Parker went off without a hitch. I was able to get by with only one blade in the DE and no pulling or tugging. The head shave was OK and seemed to be fine to the end. I ran the Stirling out, so I opened a new one.
Time to get the little tractor ready for today's work.

All in all... a good shave.
    Enjoy

I had a few adult beverages last night and checked out the PAA website. There are so many different scent choices it is overwhelming. Thankfully that helped in avoiding purchasing more soap. I did pick up a couple of the atomizers. I had the copper razor in my cart but caught myself just before checking out.

I am up and moving this morning. The dog and I have already had a long walk and I am through a half pot of coffee. The R4L Stirling scent is just an extraordinary. I would repurchase if he makes the scent part of his regular product line. Three passes and touch ups ended in a near perfect shave. I have a client meeting at noon today and then a late lunch with my Mom. I hope everyone has a great Saturday.

The copper razor definitely has my interest. I agree there are so many scents, it is overwhelming. Unfortunately, I seem to have taken the approach of just getting them all since I can't decide which ones to get.

I’ll forward you my address and links to some brush sites for next time, Clint. It could take your enabling powers to the next level! You’re welcome.:)

Related question: Who is the biggest enabler? The enabler, or the one who enables the enabler?

Much better shave this morning(from yesterday). A better brush certainly makes a difference! Couple weepers on the second pass, but they aren't dangerous. I'll try to improve the Burma Shave knots-make 'em look like that NBC Peacock :)

That's some great restraint, Clint! PAA can be overwhelming. There are a couple more I'd like to add but the den is at full capacity. Well unless I do some rearranging and clear another shelf. Hmm.
