how's replacing shower stems, handles, etc, and fixing doors that were installed poorly (by the previous homeowner, of course) for productive?

yeah, I need to work on another big 2K PIF, similar to my one across the street, but it was too easy....:rofl

 

Yeah... "easy" he says... by the time they figured out his problem for his 2K PIF he was almost ready for a 3K PIF

Not just you, but it seems to be a common concern that it will draw people away from The Motherland That Is TSD. I was just trying to say that that wasn't the intention, nor do I think it will happen. It's not the right kind of format....

 

I don't know why this has taken me so long, but I've finally gotten a complete list of the den up over in the Mall. I'm going by memory right now, and I keep thinking I'm missing some things. Anyway link is in the sig line if interested. PM me if anybody wants samples of something. Be advised though, I ain't cuttin' up my soaps so they are off limits.

I noticed that earlier and you inspired me to put my Haul "howl" up. Looks like we took different directions with our *AD. I started with razors and am now shifting to other things... I know I have a lot of soaps I tried that didn't suit me that aren't listed and I am sure I am missing some razors, but honestly, who can keep track at this point.

 

Sorry... I don't really watch basketball either. I just offered it as it is March Madness mass hysteria and over hype season. I did the combined score thing as a PIF during football season.

 

No need to apologize. I am just an old bitter dude anyway. I can't drink, smoke my stuff, or even "rise" to the occasion anymore. The only reason I have not drove off a cliff is my grandkids.

 

Yep. I knew I forgot a whole mess of stuff (updated). I've given away more than I care to remember too. Soaps mostly. All those glycerin pucks that just didn't work for me. Plus a few whose odor wasn't up my alley. I hope to add to that razor list a little bit however.

I don't know that I need more. Considering that before August I had never own any at all.

Dom sent me several samples that I am going through. I have some TSD samples ordered. I figure that I will probably pick some up in Chicago next weekend as well.

Speaking of which, how does the smell of Provence Sante soap compare to the A/S?

 

The shave soap resembles the Verlaine scent. It's a decent soap, but not great.
