This week, I decided that since I had a very, very bad attitude, it surely necessitated an abrupt adjustment in latitude. Currently, growing dreadlocks on a beach somewhere around 20N...officially on a mental health break until I arrive back in the prairie on El Cinco! June was very good month! I really enjoyed the Arko with a TSD STL meet-up detour! I'll ponder what the theme for me in July Wil be and look forward to another great month. Until then, sitting in the shade pondering it all, mounting a comeback... Have a Great July!
Thanks, Danny! It still is an A- shave and that's ok. Fortunately, the cut is healing very fast and nicely! My soft touch technique helps to minimize the seriousness of the wounds. I am a full disclosure guy so that I become accountable to you guys and that you learn from my successes and malaprops. I expect the same from every member as well..We all have good and bad days and fortunately, most of us have good to excellent shave days.
Funny, ha ha! You are such a needler! Lol! I have given my rubric, but here is my final grade determination. 1 cut = -3 points, 2 weepers = - 4 points, and IBBS+ = - 2 points for a total of - 9 points. Final Grade = 100 - 9 = 91. If I needed stitches, then that would be -10 pts.
Thanks Rick, you get me! You are right on with explaining my loading technique. I don't have Cremo, but I can add my Noxema Cleansing Creme to it, just like when I molest the Williams to get a better lather. The next time I use the Razorock soap, I am going to paste it on my face and then add water in small increments. Hopefully, that should work, otherwise, I will molest it with Noxema!
Never tried Sharp Star blades, got 10 coming from try-a-blade. Could not find any other place to order them. Any suggestions if I like them. The Monobit is a great razor, Feather and Kai blades make mine rock-n-roll. Grizzi Bear approved . Thanks tp
Andrew, that's a great shave and I concur with your Sterling soap assessment! I am not looking to add any more soap, but I have to ask anyone who has tried Stirling, "Is there a better soap in thickness, protection, and slickness?
You can find them on eBay if you do like them. There is some speculation that they are just rebranded Rapira Platinum Lux's (which I also like). Sent from my Galaxy using Tapatalk
Thanks Joe! I have other soaps that perform just as well, but I couldn't say they perform better. Certainly not at the same price point as Stirling though. That's why Stirling is my most purchased brand. Sent from my Galaxy using Tapatalk
