those commercials annoy me because PC just stands for personal computer, macs are personal computers too

Do you ever call your Mac a PC or your Personal Computer? Or do you always call it a Mac?

I call it a mac or my laptop but how often do you call your PC a PC? most people just call them computers or laptops

I call mine "needs to be upgraded when I can stop spending money on SRADs"

To me they're all computers, unless they're Macs... The only time I use the term "PC" is when someone says, "I just got a new computer," and I reply, "Oh yeah? A PC or a Mac?"


It's funny though, because the "general population" doesn't distinguish between other operating systems, like Linux based computers....

the term PC sticks because of the old PC-DOS that IBM used when they first started making "personal" computers....thus the generic PC when referring to a non-Apple workstation.

I used to have it bad. After all I can put a computer together with old spare parts. However, I don't replace things unless I have to now. It used to be a bigger problem when I was trying to keep up with game requirements, but as Microsoft purchases every company that puts out games that I like and then kills those products, there is no sense in upgrading.

I've got it under control now. I've cut my eBay watch items from 42 to 17.

I have an '01 Impala....I hate that car. H A T E I T. Can't afford to get anything else right now, so I'm driving it into the ground....

I hope to be able to get another Volvo when the time comes to get another car...maybe do the Over Seas Delivery where you go to Copenhagen to pick it up.... if a) they're still around and b)they're still offering that sweet deal

Chevy had some tough years no doubt. But the 08 and later Malibu is a homerun. Redesigned completely. Sit's on the same chassis as the Pontiac G series. I have the top model w/ leather interior, 18 in alloy wheels, bells and whistles galore. I love the car.

I have 23 in mine....and none of it is shaving accessories.

Nice. I've got some straights that are on there that I won't be bidding on, but I'd like to see where they end. There's one that I set aside some money for a few days ago that I'm willing to spend more on, but it's probably going to go way past my upper limit.

My watchlist is now empty....
