    Hi all. Today I used my hands-down favorite safety razor, the Micromatic. Armed with a vintage "Gold Tone" blade. I was prepared for the worst, but I was pleasantly surprised. Not quite as sharp as modern Gem blades, but sharp enough. No spine, so the angle is a smidgen different. I got that worked out in no time, and got a good shave. Maybe a little more touching up than usual for a Micromatic.

    Went back to my Parker 55SL semi slant this morning to finish out my trail. It's going well, I like the feel of the blade and when loaded with a favorite blade, Kai or Feather, a great shave is easily obtained.
    More on that when time allows.

    Good morning!

    Excellent shave to start the day! Three passes for near BBS. I've been getting some excellent lather from the Fat. I think the Veg has finally chosen me. It smelled nice this morning. Who woulda thought.

    Sorry, fellas. Recycled picture from last Friday. Busy day off yesterday that afforded very little sleep and I never got around to taking a picture. Back at work. Hopefully the day goes smoothly and quickly.
    Looking forward to the Cinco de Julio shaves!
