    Yesterday's shave.

Razor: Above The Tie Bamboo Handle SE1
    Blade: Feather Professional (4)
Brush: Wild West Brush Works Diablo 2 Band
    Soap: Ogallala Bay Rum
Aftershave: Ogallala Special Reserve Double Strength Bay Rum Cologne
    Bowl: Junichi Tanaka Lathering Bowl-Blue

Excellent shave after my doctors appointment this morning. See her again in 3 months. So far so good. :happy088:
First time using the Ogallala and I was very happy with it so far. Really liked the Bay Rum Cologne.

Howdy fellas!! This’ll probably be only one of very few posts this month, however I didn’t want to miss Cinco De Julio (first time I’ve participated in the whole stick razor thing) - and just wanted to drop in and say “Hello”.

What’s the difference between a stunt shave and a regular shave? For starters, not being certain of the outcome. I wouldn’t have used this “razor” if I wasn’t confident enough that it would be fine. Secondly, angle and pressure. The whole purpose of this exercise is to illustrate that Technique Trumps Tools. And, it does….always.

Two passes plus a little cleanup around the Adam’s Apple* and today’s shave was every bit as good as any other shave, with any other razor.

*Full disclosure - I did a minor amount of touchup with a DE - ONLY because my “razor” fell apart at the end of the 2nd pass. I used E6000 to assemble the razor, and foolishly thought that even rinsing with water it would at least see me through one shave.

I hope everyone is doing well!! Have a great day, gents!

Fantastic shave to start the day. Holding the little B&P travel razor at the correct angle can be rather difficult in places but it is really quite efficient when you get the angle right. RazoRock soaps aren't the best performers but when you buy them on sale they offer great value. For Chicago has a nice floral type cologne scent. Kinda similar to Stirling Triumph. Two passed for a slightly awkward but otherwise easy DFS. Have a great day and weekend my friends!

I just checked and my raffle prize is out for delivery.:happy093: Thanks to Blair @b1hart for getting it shipped out fast and for donating the Stirling products to the cause. The raffle was a lot of fun and I appreciate JoAnna @Queen of Blades for heading it up. Congrats to all of the winners as well.
