Friday, July 5, 2019 I haven't posted one of these in a while. Gatsby Face Wash Stirling Lemon Chill Shave Soap Plisson Plissoft Brush Gillette Trac II w/brass handle 3 passes w/touch up Alum SLC Witch Hazel and aloe SLC Balm SLC Splash Osage Rub Great shave! (The Trac II is as vintage as I can go.) This is my setup for the entire summer. Freezing cold, and I smell like Pledge! I collect obscure whiskey memorabilia. The box of NIB Michter sample bottles was one of my finds on the 4th. More to come.

The actual shave went down exactly as planned with one exception... The razor....At the last minute I picked up my 1914 Stoll Improved/Star Super Six...a lovely design by Richard Kampfe. It's actually a Kampfe Star Cru Steel lather cather with a 1914 shaped blade cover mounted reversed in a shovel head style...But for shave feel, I imagine this one feels just like the cru-steel and the blade cover makes it look cool, and makes finding the perfect angle a piece of cake....I love this one veddy much!! 4 of July Shave pic: Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
Pre: Warm water splash Brush: Omega 10051 Boar Soap: MWF Razor: E-R Streamline/Jewel Blade: Gem PTFE Post: Warm then cold water rinse, Pinaud Clubman ASL A beautiful Fat Friday shave. The Streamline shaved me closer than a sloughing snakes new skin. Happy Shaving one and all.
