Short travels for my yesterday's holiday. As much as I enjoy my parents spending a day & night with them is taxing. Dad & I got out yesterday to his driveway. The project was chosen by Mom. His row of fig trees was in serious need of weeding. The trees are fairly young and close to the ground. I got in too many hours sitting on a five gallon bucket in the sun using electric hedge clippers to trim tall grass, weeds, and various creeping vines trying to strangle the poor figlets. Back home now feeling the pains in my lower back, picking berry thorns out of my hands.

Joseph, it's always your choice. When you post a short Shave Report it's like Paul Harvey not saying "...and now, the rest of the story."
Hands on! Some people, big or small, can read and learn. Getting your hands into a lesson makes memories!

I need to get that process going. My oldest son sparked up an online relationship with a young lady living in Australia. She flew to The States to visit him. He flew down under to visit her. She got a student visa and stayed here to take dog grooming lessons. Shortly after she returned, he moved in down there. They are expecting their first child around mid October. I've been offered a paid round trip ticket to come visit. Can't turn down a trip like that! Last time I needed a passport was the early '90's and it's long expired now. Hoping I'm not on a No Fly List. Too long to ride a boat that far.

    July 5 SOTD:

    Razor: Razorock Mamba
    Blade: Rapira PL
    Brush: PAA Starcraft
    Lather: Stirling For Him
    Aftershave: Stirling For Him
    Additional Care:
    Stirling Unscented PSB

It was a relatively early shave this morning as we had to get to Houston. The good news is that I get to go back to pick up my daughter's passport. I can't wait. The shave itself was great, as the Stirling For Him soap lathered up beautifully this morning. The razor and Rapira PL (on its 12th shave) were as smooth as ever. Two passes and a DFS. Other than the round trip to Houston, this day is off to a good start. I hope everyone has a great day!

Get it done early. If you have lots of time, it isn't too bad. Having to drive to the passport office is not too good.
