Looks like there is a PAL Injector in there, a great shaver indeed. Dump the Leather if you think it is bad.
My very first razor had BIG ROC etched on it. I later found out it was a Ming Shi. That cased Ming Shi was my attempt to recapture my first shaves with the razor and a VDH kit. Sadly, the razor in the box is nowhere close to what I had when I started. Ditch it, or PIF it, if you need room.
Packed and the lid fits. I pulled the lime soap, OS talc, "London Morning" soap, the two OS Leather, blue Anherb, Afta, Jack Black beard lube sample, and TOBS Eton College sample.
I added the full bottle of Shulton Old Spice. Been lucky or skillful finding it in the wild for good prices. Barbasol did discontinue a different scent recently, and Brisk is not listed on their website so I may have started or continued that rumor. I've got most of a bottle of both Brisk and Pacific Rush so left them for others to enjoy. @gorgo2 (don't know if you've shared your first name, I'm Rick) In the photo, top right side - a silver handles injector; Schick? PAL? If that's the too mild one, not for me., I like em efficient and aggressive. My daughter might take it for a test shave. I'm curious about the Stirling Frozen Tundra SS. Extra chilly & minty scented? If anyone snags the tub, leave me a sample to try? Like I need another brush, but if no one gets it, I'd be proud to adopt the Omega. Nice shape but I can't tell - boar?
Yep, boar. It's the only brush I've used for several years thanks to our own Panchango but it is beginning to shed, and I am not the guy to fix it right. The Tundra was moderately cool to me, not cold. The anise Obsidian? Colder, good stuff, I kept that. Still not near Chiseled Face Cryogen levels but I like it.
Same here. I think there was a Glacial Lime soap early on Round One. Maybe it was the C&E? I did get the small sample bottle of Royall Lime lotion. Full flavored and potent!
Correction to the above, it's the late model Persona injector, too mild for me. I did throw in my beloved E2, if you'd like it. Felt like it was time to share that gem.
I might have tried it to gauge the coolness, but I'm not a licorice fan. I do like the quality of Omega knots. Their lower priced brush handles aren't impressive for the quality. Considering the cost of buying another just to pull the knot? Makes more sense just to buy another unless that's a really nice handle.
It's big but not heavy. Perfectly hand shaped, too. At the time I was having odd grip issues and it helped me greatly. Now I can handle a smaller but heavier brush so I want to pass it on to another to enjoy.
Not me. Already have a good selection of Schicks including an E-2. Got G's, J's, M's. The Schick Stick in The Box was mine - on the mild side. Only one I'm still seeking is a type F. Might pick up a Type H if it was in acceptable condition. Folks don't toss those in a pass around box.
Do you know what the one is I pulled out of the last box? Handsome looking devil, long black handle, nickel head, I think it's out of the 1950s. There was a hydro magic version but this isn't it, unfortunately.
I've had a lot of original Shulton OS over the years and have a lot now. It can get weak but I've never seen it go bad. I have smelled bad OS Leather before. Some component gets the same almost stale urine/bad animal musk scent to it. Still-fresh OS Leather is nice but Avon's is still king.
Lots of Clubman talc at my house. My local CVS store stocks it and I make good use of it. That, and a large supply of Old Spice talc.
Middle of summer I’m sure it will find a good home. I almost put in a small bottle of Jeris talc but then I thought of me and kept it.
