Ya... I am going on some trips this year and want to bring some firepower. Everyone says I have expensive hobbys, I have yet to find a cheap one. On the cameras go check a leica or hasselblad.
I was sort of looking into that myself while I was working at disney. I say go for it, from what I've heard it's expensive and I'm broke so I won't be getting certified any time soon.

Evening all, I'm back. Those camera links make me want to clean up my old Canon FTb and lenses. Oh, and Jen... definitely get dive certified if you get the chance. My dad and I got certified when we were living on St. Croix, back before I graduated high school. In college I took the courses and did the cert. dives for Advanced Openwater but I never got my card upgraded. I still regret letting that go, even though I haven't been diving since.
I think I need to start another book. I haven't read anything in quite a while. The last book I tried to get into just never really got rolling for me. But yours is required reading, I'm guessing.
oh yeah, mine is my giant never ending sociology book. You should see the stack of index cards I have for just this one chapter. It has to be over 100 cards.. You're a geek right? need a good series to get into? pick up the halo novels, there are 6 of them. Fall of Reach, The Flood, The First Strike, The Ghosts of Onyx, Contact Harvest, and The Cole Protocol. Awesome stuff edit: that's the order too, you can pick up the first 3 in a little plastic wrapped together 3 pack to see if you like the series. The first book covers the spartans childhood (my personal favorite of the series) the 2nd one covers the first game and the 3rd leads up to the 2nd game. Onyx is a prequel to the potential 4th game, that planet that chief is floating near while cryogenically frozen on his ship at the end of 3 is Onyx. and 4 & 5 I haven't gotten to yet myself but my boyfriend loved them.
