July 7 Good morning, guys! Dovo Shavette Shave #81 Personna Hairshaper (3) Semogue OC Badger Stirling Coconut Lime SS and AS I changed my face lathering technique by loading the brush somewhat dry. I wetted my face and applied the soap. Achieved a nice lather after slowly add ing water to the brush and applying soap to my face a few times. I normally have more water on the brush, but this "new" technique prevents a major mess in my soap jar and basically everywhere else. Did my normal 2.5 pass shave and I am glad to say I am back, baby! I gave myself a superior shave. Under my old grading system that would be a 97.5. Sorry guys, I needed to give you a frame of reference and a good old fashioned nudge! Lol! I basked in the soothness of the matching aftershave. I hear the birds singing, and it is sunny. All is right in my world, once again! Hope yours is too, guys! Have a nice Sunday!
July 7, 2019 Supply Co V2 with 2 dot plate Schick Proline Thäter Boar Stuga Lemon Myrtle Myrsol Agua de Limon I had planned to get up and go for a motorcycle ride early this morning. I decided sleep was more important and rolled over for another 2 hours of shut eye. I will be using the Supply Co this week. It reminds me a lot of using a smaller Cobra Classic. The big Thäter Boar whipped up the Lemon Myrtle with ease. Three passes and touch ups had the baby within reach. So I went for a 4th buffing pass on my lower right neck to catch the little fellow. A splash of Agua de Limon and I am ready to watch the Women's World Cup with the ladies. I hope everyone has a great Sunday.
Thanks for letting us know, Perry! I have enough soap and aftershave to last me quite awhile and my shave den is paltry compared to some of the big kahunas on this forum. I am sure someone would be interested.
Great shave, Jim! That's a beautiful razor, but I am not surprised because any razor Keith owns is top shelf.
