I have to admit something fellas.....I can't wait til September looms so I can get my mind back on cool/cold weather shaves. But I'll still enjoy my shaves until then, just not as much variety(though the Stoylin Frost Drops and the Stoylin Glacial Eskimo Tuxedo soap help).
Thank you Jason. I really like the Thater. However, the Zenith is the better brush at any price. When you look at the relative cost then the Zenith wins by a wider margin. I bought a Omega 49 for a project a couple of months back and while the knot in use, it looks like crap. I should have bought the cheap plastic handle Zenith instead.
Thanks Andrew! I did enjoy the shave and will do that combo again. Made a few calls, got a nephew with a full sized pickup and flat bed trailer to go pull the S-10 off the side of the Interstate. When daughter couldn't get it home last night I had a troubled frenetic night's dreams in that one step forward, two steps back style. Fortunately it all came together and the lil Chevy is back in the yard. Nephew wouldn't take gas money for his troubles. I did get him a cold bottle of Gatorade and walked him through my garage of salvage. He liked the looks of a cart I had picked up but not yet utilized. Sort of thing a grocery store might use to stock cases of canned goods but real heavy duty. His father in law needed something better for his little arc welder. That helped to balance the slightly used gas water heater they sent my way a while back. Nice having close by family, inlaws, and outlaws in different trades. I just watched Ruds Shaves review about Kaboom by Stirling, and heard the story about Noble Otters same name soap. Cool how they put their heads together and worked it out.
