Update. Received razor late yesterday. Was not Gold but just a regular 1957 (C-4) F.T. Super Speed. I guess the back light caused the picture color to be skewed. On the bright side the razor cleaned up quite nicely.

Had the itch to order some Stirling

I cannot believe Andrew had the itch.

I just got in the mail my Simpsons Duke 3 synthetic shave brush that I’m putting away for my birthday in December. Now I’m waiting on Ariana & Evans Khalifa shave soap and aftershave that should arrive tomorrow. The soap and splash I’ll use as soon as I get it.

That is will power!

I’ve done this before. Last year in September I bought the PAA Ascension DOC when it first launched and saved it for my birthday that year.

I cannot do that..........never did like waiting.

How do you rate (dud, obvious since you ordered some!) the Stirling EDT's?

Delayed Gratification is good for you! You aren't supposed to enjoy the wait. The increased anticipation heightens the joy later. I've got the Stirling 2019 30 DC Meet Up "Blood on Steel " SS & AS in my cabinet. I've sniffed it, but resisted a shave while I anticipate the '19 30 DC LE brush's arrival. It's going to be great! I can't am patiently waiting!

Waiting on an inkwell stand for my Timeless Bronze and Barrister & Mann Lavanille with AS.

I think they are nice and have good staying power. If the scent is mostly citrus it lasts a good 3 or 4 hours (Hipster, Dunshire). If it's a deeper scent (BoS, Sandpiper, EMP, DBS) I'll be smelling it all day!

Pulled the trigger on something cold this morning

Interesting. This synthetic cooling agent is working it's way into the Wet Shaving World. Noble Otter has something, too. No menthol scent or
teary eyes. Just cold.

I'm not familiar with the B&M Excelsior base, Good stuff?

Going to pick up 31 pieces of Avon aftershave decanters mid morning.
