A few razors ..............


A 1961 Flare second quarter in great shape.
A 1940 Milady with minor plate loss on the doors.
A 1969 Travel Tech, came with an aluminum handle, but I may swap it for a Durham Duplex. Unless someone's looking for a 1969 third quarter.

The only one I was really looking for was the 1940 Milady.

Couple of razors from a lot I bought. They are all Filomatic razors. These are all Spanish made razors.

These 2 are the DE razors both representative of all DE razors Filomatic made from the 60s until the 70s.

This is the Filomatic Inox.


This one is a plain Filomatic, it isn't an inox because it is made of all plastic or a bakelite type material. This one requires a modified blade since it is designed to take a French Gibbs style blade. You can either trim the tabs or nibble a cutout. The base plate will keep the blade evenly loaded so no futzing around with aligning the blade afterwards.



The next 2 are SE injector razors. They work with the same standard blades as used in Schick injectors.

Here is a Filomatic Inox injector.


This one is called an F2 injector, it looks to be a copy of a Gillette twinjector. Whether it also shaves like one I don't know.


Finally an unopened cart razor called a filodos.

 

For a whopping 5.40 with tax!

Gotta love it when a currently available product shows up in an end of the line discount store. Good catch! Proraso has quite the extensive and varied selection. Is that the Red - sandalwood scented?

Yes it is. I have it in the tub, what is normally thought of, as the soap. So I wanted to try it in the cream. It will go great with the after shave splash.

Once piece of information here needs to be corrected that I typed wrong; the razors weren't made by Filomatic, they were made by a company called Basset, Filomatic is just the brand name.
