Excellent shave and post, Danny! Kudos for your persistence with the Durham carpet blade, but I think it may prove fruitless.
Yup. I used the Star Bakelite the last couple of morning's. I don't get much blade feel but after my usual three passes same results as any of my other razors. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
Thank you Clint! Awww...shucks.... Thank you Perry. Mastro Livi also uses it on a video and raves as well. Thank you, James. x 2
You may be right on the blades. It is such a shame because the Dorset is built amazingly well and confortable in the hand. I have a couple of barber's hones that I might give it a go and see what happens. Another possiblity is using a modified de-splined hair shaper blade. Take care my northern buddy!
Rocket Viking Sword (2) Tabac stick RazoRock plissoft Maol Grooming Heliopteris - wow, what a great scent! I'm sorry that I ignored his products for so long, especially as a fellow Canadian
Awesome setup Mark! Having great shaves? No need to change! Awesome shot Jim! Great shave Perry! The B1 is a great razor! Beautiful shot and great shave Joseph! Sounds good, John! Great picture Danny! See if you can find some of the Personna pathology blades for it. They work a little better then the carpet slitter blades, but don't be expecting a miracle. great shave!
July 11th Gillette NEW SC Jeeves Apothecary SS TGN Finest/Maple handle Thayers Stirling Baker St AS I like a good focus, but I'm enjoying grabbing whatever off the shelf this month as well. Hadn't used either this soap or the NEW SC in quite some time. Whipped up the usual, quality Jeeves lather and had 3 pleasant, smooth passes. Felt a little sandpaper on the jawline which was quickly removed before the excellently scented Splash. A nice start to the day. Have a great day, all!
Thank you, Andrew! Wonderful picture, Jason! Your NEW looks to be in great shape! Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
