Thanks Joseph-much appreciated. Man it sure felt good to shave when I got home-even though I will tomorrow morning too. I was beginning to look like our Williams friend.

By the way, my "happy shave" upon returning from the hospital was Rise Super Foam, and no A.S. Just wanted to lose the whiskers, that was enough for now.

Today's tool of choice was the Fatip Piccolo. Maybe my favorite modern razor. For lather, Antiga Barbearia de Bairro Principe Real. Functionally it's Musgo Real. Doesn't smell quite as good, but not bad. In this guy's opinion of course. But the lather makes for a definite keeper. That and the Piccolo makes for a first rate shave.

    In order of appearance;
    Tuesday
My Fatip Piccolo and a Kai blade.
Used one blade for the entire shave, ok but I could have changed blades for the head shave. Ok
    Wednesday
Now the Fine Superlite Slant and two Feathers for the job, nice. This razor never lets me down for comfort and closeness.
    This morning
Oh boy! Now the SE of a bygone age.
My SCS Lather Catcher and a Personna GEM blade. 3 passes on the mug, 2 passes on the gord. Close....Smooth....Nice!
Only one blade for this job, nice.
How can a guy go from despising shaving for decades to actually wanting to shave?
    Well, there it is.

The Friday shave has been determined by what was in the mailbox this evening.
A new Merkur bakelite DE. I loaded it with a blade that came with it, but I have the Feathers on standby, just in case.

I love bakelite razors, this one isn't an open comb, or a slant, so we will see.
    Everyone, have a wonderful Friday!
    Enjoy

Always kinda wanted this one, got it for about 2/3rds the normal price. We'll see how good of a job it does.
