Have you seen excel saga? if not then that is why you're confused. If you have and you're still confused it's because the show is confusing.

A man after my own congested heart.

I might give that Double Arrow a look.
I saw another one on there for cheap.
Although I don't have any immediate plans to start straight razor shaving, I'd like to get a few vintage blades refurbished & rescaled.
They're art as much as they are shavers.

I love working half days, if it weren't for actually having to drive to work I could pretend it was just a bad dream. :D

Don't fall asleep during the drive or it will be a really long and really bad dream.
    :rofl

Working a half day wouldn't even be worth the drive to Taylor for me. >_<

Ouch, that's a haul. My drive is only 25 miles one way.

That's not too bad then. The funny thing is it doesn't take me any longer to get there now, than it did when I lived 9 miles away. That's highway drivin' for ya.

Best case, it's about 40 minutes... depending on traffic, construction, and other travel-related hassles, it can be much worse.
I know people in larger, more congested cities scoff at our traffic, but I get more than enough aggravation just dealing with what we have.

Yeah I know what you mean, but at least in most larger cities you have more than 2 choices of which way to go. If it were better planned Austin wouldn't have any traffic.

I like to compare us to Lubbock.
I was out there a few years back and it occurred to me that they have about the same amount of road structure development as Austin, but barely 2/3rds the population, college included.
We were on the road during rush hour and the only traffic even close to us was two other cars and a 5 gallon bucket that fell out of someone's truck.

It's been said many times but only proves itself more true as our road construction tries to play catchup.
About 20 years ago (I've been in Austin...err... 15 yrs), when Austin was just starting to see the big influx of people, the city council made the "smart" decision to try to stay small by saying "If we don't build it, they won't come".
    Gee... that worked well.

I've heard that more than once. Therefore I shall nominate you as the Grand Poobah of Austin City Council and as such your first order of business is "To build it so they will leave". :happy102:happy102:happy102

One of the funniest things I ever heard on a morning radio show was Dale Dudley (KLBJ FM) a few years ago, the Monday after SXSW. He said "To all those who came here for South By Southwest, thank you... now GO HOME! We're full."
