    Pulled out the ol Proraso white because I wanted to practice loading before the samples I ordered show up (been using nothing but shave sticks for months)

    I have heard it explained that Proraso is a pretty good product as long as you treat it as 2 parts of a whole (preshave + soap). I think I agree with that.

    rest of the equipment was Rocket, Viking Sword (3 then retired), RazoRock plissoft, Chatillon Lux Taum Sauk - which I'm realizing is the heaviest menthol hit in my cabinet by far. The only aftershave I can distinctly smell menthol in, and the only one with the potential to make my eyes water. Exclusively a 1-season product.

    Thank you Jim. Thunder and Fireworks only started stressing Mocha out recently. Of course she's 13 years old which might have something to do with the increased stress.

    Good morning, guys!

    This is the first time that I used these Stirling products, courtesy of my raffle win. I soaked the Stirling brush for 40+ hours to start the breaking in process. I have to say it's a cute brush with some backbone. It lathered the BoS like a champ! The soap scent was barely noticeable, but that could be that my sinusitis is blocking it. The AS smelled nice, but I didn't put too much on my face because I don't want to smell like I came out of a house of ill repute. Two and half passes on a full 2 days growth gave me an excellent shave. It would have been a superior one, if I didn't cut myself by landing improperly due to split second inattention. The cut looks more like a scratch and so I still look handsome. Lol! The public should be glad that I am not a commercial pilot. Lol! Also, I got a weeper! Finally, the hairshaper blade was so efficient that I could have stopped and it would have been a DFS. Anyway, you guys have an awesome day! 20190712_085114.jpg 20190712_085114.jpg
