    Excellent shave summary, Joseph! I might add that I view temporary setbacks as learning opportunities to make the necessary changes to improve. I was watching my Lynn Abrams video and he said that you have to add more or less laps depending on the steel. Stainless steel needs more laps than carbon steel. Also, he said to do the tree top test, etc. It may be that you didn't do enough laps or you did to many. The toughest part of honing is that there is no set rule to honing, only guidelines. You will figure it out, Joseph!

    With my sister "taking me shopping" today, I'll get 2 bags of razors, to stretch them out as long as I can before I need more. Course I expect to hit the drug store again before I can drive again, but might as well get what I can now. Nice of her to help out like this. Then we're going grocery shopping to "tide me over" for 5 days or so.. Nice of her to help me out like this.

    I used up a tub of Catie’s Bubbles Sandalwood in 2015. It was more of a croap and left my face feeling squeaky. This formula was much better. I might get a tub of CB Sandalwood after I use up some of the current stash.
